New Locking L-Track Cupholders!

L-Track is one the greatest components of any van build and we helped make it even better by creating some of the first 3D printed accessories for L-Track! Back in 2022 the first Chasm Components cup holders hit the market and it was a hit among van enthusiasts instantly. Over the years we have been thinking about how do we improve upon the original design while still keeping that same ethos of simple but elegant? A couple of years later and we have the "Locking L-Track Cup Holder"! 

The Locking L-Track Cup Holder features a very similar design to the original L-Track cup holder on the front end but it is on the backside of the cup holder where the magic happens. The L-Track to cup holder interface has received a whole new redesign and is prepared to keep your beverages locked in even in the roughest of terrain! 

The new locking mechanism on the cup holders features a three part sliding design that consists of the main body, the lock, and a spring! Just like the original L-Track interface, this one is easy to use and functions great! Inserting the new cup holder into the L-Track is as simple as lining up the two circles on the cup holder with two circles on the L-Track, pushing into the L-Track and sliding it sideways until it "clicks" into place. Then to release just pull the lock towards the cupholder and slide the cup holder to the left or the right while lightly pulling away from the L-Track and it will slide right out! Easy to install, locked into place, and easy to remove!
